Meet Our Instructors!

Patricia Predmore

Pat gave birth to Birth Matters! nearly 17 years ago.  It has always been her dream to have a home for Birth Matters! and in 2007 that has finally happened!  She has been supported in this joyous labor by her husband, John, and three wonderful children, Karen, Laura and Nathan, and by many wonderful women who believe that a woman's birth experience does matter and that she needs to be well educated and supported.  As a certified Lamaze childbirth educator, DONA certified doula, and a certified lactation counselor and educator, Pat will be teaching childbirth and breastfeeding classes, Life with Baby, and facilitating special events.  In addition to her local work, Pat is a DONA International approved Birth Doula Trainer, childbirth faculty for Lamaze International, and the Director of Education for DONA International.  Pat lives in Fairport, and enjoys many handcrafts, reading and music.
